Missing "Run As" context option only on 'limited' user accounts
As 'admin', my right-click context menu lists "Run As". In my internet accounts (limited), "run as" does not appear in the context menu. I do not like to be on the internet while logged on as 'admin' for security reasons. I ran Shell Menu View (NirSoft) and all looks good for "run as". (It is enabled and not 'extended'.)I looked at NirSoft FAQs and couldn't figure it out. (I have Win XP pro 32 bit SP3 all updated correctly.I do have a lot of various programs on this PC that I could uninstall if necessary, in case that could cause this.)1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi, I would suggest you to take a look at the article mentioned below and follow the steps mentioned in the article. How to enable and use the "Run As" command when running programs in Windowshttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/294676 If that does not resolve your issue then, I would suggest you to do a SFC (System File Checker) scan and check whether the issue is resolved. Check the article mentioned below.Description of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 System File Checker (Sfc.exe)http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310747 Thank you,Divya RMicrosoft Answers Support Engineer.Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.
